40 Hadith on Honoring Parents (Birr al-Walidayn)

1. Who is Most Deserving of Fine Companionship?
أُمُّكَ ، ثُمَّ أُمُّكَ ، ثُمَّ أُمُّكَ ، ثُمَّ أَبُوكَ
A man asked: 'O Messenger of Allah, who is most deserving of my fine companionship?' He replied: 'Your mother.' The man asked: 'Then who?' He said: 'Your mother.' The man asked: 'Then who?' He said: 'Your mother.' The man asked: 'Then who?' He said: 'Your father.'
💡 Core Virtue: Mothers carry 3x priority in companionship, care, and honor.

2. Pleasure of the Lord in the Pleasure of Parents
رِضَا الرَّبِّ فِي رِضَا الْوَالِدِ ، وَسَخَطُ الرَّبِّ فِي سَخَطِ الْوَالِدِ
The Prophet ﷺ said: 'The pleasure of the Lord is in the pleasure of the parents, and the anger of the Lord is in the anger of the parents.'
💡 Core Virtue: Pleasing one's parents earns Allah's divine pleasure.
