40 Hadith on Patience (Sabr)
Authentic sayings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ on Sabr in obedience, refraining from sin, and enduring trials.
1. No Gift Given Better Than Patience
وَمَا أُعْطِيَ أَحَدٌ عَطَاءً خَيْرًا وَأَوْسَعَ مِنَ الصَّبْرِ
The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever seeks patience, Allah will grant him patience. And no one has been given a gift better and more comprehensive than patience.'
💡 Core Virtue: Sabr is the ultimate spiritual fortitude granted by Allah.

2. The Amazing Affair of the Believer
عَجَبًا لأَمْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِنَّ أَمْرَهُ كُلَّهُ خَيْرٌ...
The Prophet ﷺ said: 'How amazing is the affair of the believer! There is good for him in every matter... If prosperity comes to him, he expresses gratitude and it is good for him; and if adversity touches him, he shows patience and it is good for him.'
💡 Core Virtue: The believer wins in every state through Shukr and Sabr.
