40 Hadith on Gratitude (Shukr)

1. Shall I Not Be a Grateful Servant?
أَفَلاَ أَكُونُ عَبْدًا شَكُورًا
When asked why he prayed at night until his feet swelled despite his past and future sins being forgiven, the Prophet ﷺ replied: 'Shall I not be a grateful servant?'

2. Thanking People is Thanking Allah
لاَ يَشْكُرُ اللَّهَ مَنْ لاَ يَشْكُرُ النَّاسَ
The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever does not thank people does not thank Allah.'
