1. Ikhfa Shafawi — Labial Concealment

Letter: ب

Conceal the meem with ghunnah (nasal sound) for 2 counts because both meem and ba share the lips (shafatain).

2. Idgham Shafawi — Labial Merging

Letter: م

Meem merges completely into the following meem with ghunnah.

3. Izhaar Shafawi — Clear Pronunciation

All other letters

Pronounce the meem clearly without any ghunnah.
